Nextcloud is the Windows client of this cloud storage platform. Nextcloud allows you to create your own server in the cloud. You can host it on your own computer or on a NAS, or you can associate an existing server in the cloud (offered by Nextcloud itself, but with limited storage).
Automatically sync your files
After installing Nextcloud on Windows and adding your server, you can choose what you want to synchronize in the cloud. Choose any folder you like, and every time you make a change to it, it will be synchronized in the cloud. For example, if you edit a file in that folder, it will be synchronized instantly. Similarly, if you modify a file in the cloud, it will also be synchronized on your PC.
Nextcloud interface
The Nextcloud client has a very limited interface, where you can only see the history of contents that have been synchronized and force synchronization. In the settings you can choose which content you want to be synchronized with the cloud, enable the use of a proxy or set limits for download and upload speed. You can also enable end-to-end encryption to ensure that no one can access your content.
Web interface
If you want to make other modifications to your server or Nextcloud account, you will have to go to the web interface. There you will see your content sorted by type (images, documents, etc.) or even be able to check your email if you have synchronized your email account with Nextcloud.
Integrate other apps and services into Nextcloud
Nextcloud offers integration with other services and also allows collaboration with other users. You can share folders or files from the web interface to allow other people to edit documents or access your content if you wish, making it ideal for collaborative environments.
Download Nextcloud and synchronize your content with your own personal cloud.
